Big Day, our 24-hour birding marathon and conservation fundraiser, took place on May 11 in the Great Lakes. Thanks to the support of thousands of people around the world, it was a BIG success!

Altogether, Team Sapsucker saw 203 species in a single day. Their mission—to bird in the name of conservation—has never been more important. Each spring, 3.5 billion birds migrate into the U.S. according to BirdCast data. But migration decreased by 14% in just a decade, a real emergency.
